DevOps Engineers
What do we want you ask? We want you! You are highly passionate about cracking the toughest challenges in tech. For you, DevOps is not a job, it is a life passion. You have an automation mindset and hands-on experience with automated environments, cloud infrastructure (AWS)and you are highly passionate about working with Linux terminal. You also have strong experience with relational databases, SQL or even NoSQL databases.
Solution Architect
Ferry is now on the lookout for a highly talented and motivated Solution Architect!
What will be your job, you ask?
- Lead the business-wide technical discussions. Be accountable for aligning the business's strategic vision with its software technology
- Define, design, and implement complex, distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development life cycle
- Work on new and existing product initiatives and take a lead role in the definition of various product direction
- Drive system improvements and best practices architecturally through both refactoring legacy systems, as well as creating new solutions.
- Working across various teams within the organization to evangelize best practices and clean architecture.
- Provide leadership, inspiration, and guidance to a growing team; foster a culture of transparency and collaboration
Software Developer
Key position requirements:
- Relevant education in software engineering
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on software engineering experience in technically challenging environment
- Hands on experience with one of the following technologies/frameworks is a great advantage: Python, Java, JavaScript (any framework) or hands-on experience with mobile development (iOS or Android)
- Algorithmic approach to problem-solving
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented concepts
- Highly developed ability to analyze and understand business context and logic behind the software solution
UX/UI Designer
Key skills and position requirements:
- Strong portfolio of design work
- Fluent in UX, visual and modern interactive design best practices
- Proficiency with prototyping tools including Sketch, InVision, etc
- Comfortable with working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Independence in executing design (desktop and mobile), in consultation with product owners and technical leads
- Strong knowledge about usability principles and techniques
